ALABAMA STATE CONFERENCE HOLDS IT'S QUARTERLY MEETING IN MONTGOMERY

 On August 26, 2006 the Alabama State Conference held it's 2nd Quarterly Meeting for 2006. The meeting was in Montgomery, AL. Many of the presidents from various branches and members attended the Quarterly meeting along with State Representatives. Some of the State officers presented their reports during the meeting and some of the State Presidents reported on events that where taking place throughout the State of Alabama. One such event was the hanging in Baldwin County, AL. President Edward Vaughn spoke about the current state of the NAACP and reaching the goal of 100,000 members by the end of his term. He also mentioned the up coming State conference and ask all branches to attend and show their support.
